A person who was bitten by a snake in Sakrapura village of Bharrahi police station area of Madhepura district died in the hospital on Saturday night during treatment. The deceased has been identified as Bajrang Sah (47), a resident of Sakrapura ward number-9. After the death, there was an uproar among the family members.
Family members said that on the night of June 28, Bajrang Sah was sleeping in his courtyard. Around 12 o’clock at night, a poisonous snake bit him. When he woke up, he informed his son about it. He was immediately admitted to Madhepura Sadar Hospital. But seeing the critical condition, he was referred to a higher center. The family took him to Mission Hospital. Where after being admitted for about 24 hours, Bajrang Sah died at around 2 o’clock on Saturday night.
The deceased’s son Badal Kumar said that after the death, they went to their village with the body. This information was given to Bharrahi police station. On receiving the information, Bharrahi police station sent the body to Madhepura Sadar Hospital for postmortem.
It is being told that Bajrang Sah has three daughters and two sons. Two daughters are married. While one daughter and two sons are yet to get married. There was mourning in the house after the death of Bajrang Sah. His wife and sons and daughters are crying inconsolably. He was the only earning member in the house. Bharrahi police station in-charge said that the body has been sent for post-mortem. Further action will be taken after the post-mortem report comes.
